Welcome to Swallowfield Vineyards. We are a private estate and commercial vineyard in the Yarra Valley located on 150 acres, right at the forest’s edge. You will be inspired by your surrounds as you step through the gates and into another world. On offer to you as part of our exclusive venue hire, we boast multiple vineyards, fields, forests, lakes and even a helicopter pad. There are the stables, rustic shedding and extensive manicured gardens and lawns for photography, cocktails and lawn games. All of this is on offer to you along with with the exquisite views of the Yarra ranges as your backdrop.
The team at Swallowfield firmly believes the most important day of your life should not be the most expensive. We offer flat rates on our hiring packages, meaning you have complete control over your budget from the start. We are one of a few remaining fully DIY friendly venues, so you get to choose your own team of caterers and suppliers. We can support food trucks, mobile bars and pizza ovens. We have the facilities to accommodate dance floors, live music, DJ’s photo booths, staging and more. You can choose to bring along your wedding planner, or do it all yourself. Couples will love having the option to go as lavish, or minimalist as they desire for their big day, and to have the opportunity to add all those creative personal touches.

Our priority is you all weekend. You and your guests will enjoy exclusive use of our extensive facilities on the day as well as access to the property prior to your event to bump in/out the week before. Unlike other venues, we believe it is important to focus on only one event per weekend. And one couple, you. We pride ourselves on offering you our undivided attention & a professional, personalised service.
Totally customisable.
We are one of a few remaining fully BYO wedding venues. Bring in your own caterers, alcohol & activities. The stables are fully customisable (think velvet lounges and red carpets or wine barrels and photo booths) with space for table configurations of your choice, as well as the all important dance floor. You can choose from live music, or a DJ or just hook up your Spotify playlist. Swallowfield Vineyards is the perfect venue for the DIY bride or those looking for something truly individual to celebrate their perfect day.
Plethora of photography locations
Do you like the idea of having multiple locations available for your wedding photography? The abundance of truly stunning photographic opportunities on our property really does need to be seen to be believed. With 150 acres of beautiful lush grounds, two ornamental lakes, pine forest, rolling fields and the vineyard – your choice of photographic locations is plentiful. Your Ceremony can be held under oak trees overlooking our beautiful water feature, in our pine forest, or the stables, where the grand open fire will be roaring in the cooler months.
